How to transform a food store into a Destination Brand ?
As Brand consultants, we recommended to Le Bon Marché CEO to break the mould. French fine food & grocery stores were looking traditional – So why follow the crowd ?
With Dean & Deluca legendary NYC store as a reference, we created a new Brand Platform & World in order to make La Grande Epicerie de Paris the new ‘Rive Gauche’ temple for foodies – inspired by the Chefs’ professional environment and by contemporary premium kitchens.
The selected off-white colour palette for the brand identity and store was echoing the core ingredients any cook needs such as salt, flour & butter. Stainless steel and wood created a premium, clean & warm store atmosphere. Uniforms with aprons were recommended to better engage with clients. The signage reset to better guide shoppers. A modern restrained logo was created to give a distinctive, authoritative Brand status to the store. As a result, the new Brand Platform & World increased store sales by 25%.
