LEFRANC BOURGEOIS
The Hero with a Brush
Children spend too much time on screens. So how to engage them with hand-made activities and provide parents with the appropriate content? Creativity should inspire them as children love to create!
We designed two handbooks for Lefranc Bourgeois, the iconic French brand who invented 300 years ago the modern paint for artists, and supplied legendary painters such as Picasso, Matisse, Cézanne or Braque.
The idea for each handbook is to present a type of paint such as gouache or acrylic and to introduce a major artistic movement which used this paint such as Impressionism or Pop Art.
Then to explain a simple step-by-step method to mix gouache colours or to apply acrylic, guiding the kids to create an artwork inspired by the Impressionist movement or by the Pop Art with Monet and Keith Haring as visual mentors.
Vive la révolution créative!
